About Jaipur Gurukul
The Rotary Club of Jaipur Gurukul was instituted on 3 January 2017 and has a membership of 263 active Rotarians. A charitable organization, RCJG initiates, undertakes, and is involved in several activities that seek up benefit various sections of society. Some of the avenues of Service include Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, and International Service, as well as initiatives that reach out to the New Generations.
At Rotary Club Jaipur Gurukul, we firmly believe that we make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give. Following the Motto, ‘Serve to Change Lives’, RCJG focuses on Community Economic Development Plans, the spread of Basic Education and Literacy, Maternal and Child Health, Environment Preservation, as well as Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention activities, among many others.
Several activities that RCJG has undertaken over the years include:
- Tree plantation for Environment Awareness
- Happy School Project
- Book Collection and Donation Drive towards Education and Literacy
- PEP Talks titled ‘Entrepreneurship: Starting Out Young’
- Awareness of Mental Well-being and Nutrition
Rotary Club of Jaipur Gurukul continually strives to expand the range of its endeavours to better serve others, where needed.
